As an Accounting Supervisor within our Finance division, you will be responsible for maintaining general ledger accounts and related activities for the production of financial statements and reports. You will perform account reconciliations and analyses, prepares journal entries and reviews accounting classifications, in accordance with generally-accepted accounting principles (GAAP). You will analyze variances and prepare financial statements, including balance sheets and statements of financial position.

Additional responsibilities for this job include but not limited to:

Closing books, analyzing internal controls, implementing and/or developing processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness

Coordinates, supervises and is accountable for the daily activities of business support, technical or production team or unit

Skills / Requirements

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business or related field

3+ years of professional accounting experience

Preferred:

CPA

Experience with internal controls

Previous experience posting to a general ledger, specifically PeopleSoft
