is looking for a Planner to drive exceptional performance for S&C's Source-to-Sell Planning process for the North America region. Reporting to the North America Product Availability Leader, the Product Availability Manager is responsible for achieving a superior on-time-to-request (OTTR) and on-time-to-promise (OTTP) internal and external finished goods source-to-sell products through: setting effective inventory management strategies, actively managing planning parameters for intercompany goods sold into North America, and identifying opportunities to improve the existing flow of goods to better service North America customers.
Manage source-to-sell planning for Finished Goods products.
Accountable source-to-sell delivery OTTR to customers.
Analyze and maintain optimal finished goods inventory levels, including customer-specific inventory programs or agreements.
Analyze and maintain stated customer lead times (service levels) based on market trends, competitor lead times, and historical customer lead time requests
Partner with factory leaders and planners to identify and reconcile gaps and supply shortages, providing an early warning system for issues identification.
Identify and develop process improvements with the integrated supply chain by continuously improving techniques, methods and approaches to inventory planning.
Works closely with global factory locations in Asia and Europe.
Bachelor Degree 2+ years experience, or an Associate Degree with 5+ years experience
Two years experience in supply chain, operations, finance, logistics, processes or business systems
Two years experience working with ERP (SAP and Oracle preferred)
APICS certification
Proficient in Excel, Word, Powerpoint; Access database experience preferred.
Experience working with reporting warehouses (i.e, Business Objects, Business Warehouse, etc)
Good understanding of supply chain activities and the relationship between sales, customer service & transportation/warehousing functions
Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentation)
Demonstrated expertise in a global supply chain environment with a highly complex/high SKU count and global product flows
