Primary Responsibilities:

• Provision space, power and cabling for new devices being installed by the DCF-(Data Center Facilities) team in the UHG Data Centers.


• Device Installation and De-Installation in DCF supported UHG Data Centers


• Perform installation audits, participate in the on-call rotation and provide on-site assistance for device installations.


• Working with on-line/computer tools, both turn-key and home grown applications.


• This position is generally a day time job, but flexible hours are sometimes required to support our customers as required. Overtime is also sometimes required to support our customer's needs. This position is part of an On-Call rotation.

Skills / Requirements

Requirements:

• 
  
  2+ years in Data Center/Low Voltage Cabling Technician and/or Provisioning role
  


• 2+ years proficiency in MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project)


• Associate's Degree OR High School Diploma/GED with 2+ years of equivalent experience

Asset:

• Proficiency with a Data Center Infrastructure Management Application and/or Workflow software (IE Aperture, Avocent, Rack Wise, Nlyte, other)
