Job Description AECOM is seeking a talented individual interested in the opportunity to lead a landscape practice in the Midwest and be involved with significant projects in the United States. The projects range from community parks and open space, mixed-use urban projects and TOD s, low carbon energy positive developments and ecological restoration to waterfront development and campus landscape architecture. Our professionals specialize in design, master planning, environmental and ecological planning, strategic planning and economic development. We create implementable solutions that promote sustainable land use and enhance quality of life. We are looking for potential candidates that are motivated to build business, produce high quality work and interested in a cross-disciplinary working environment. Individual will be capable of and responsible for securing commissions and building a profitable landscape design practice within the Midwest. Candidate will also be responsible for setting the management direction of the team and overall direction for the practice in the market. He/She will be capable of using the practice line and market sector expertise to advance AECOM in the market. He/She will be responsible for setting the long range marketing plan, setting the direction for the team and improving the overall progress of the team within the market. Individual will also be capable of leading the largest, most complex projects or multiple large projects and direct the work of other designers and planners. Individual will establish a strong business relationship with clients. Partners with project managers on large projects to direct the work of the project teams and monitor progress and profitability. Certifies documents when required. Qualified candidates will have a minimum of a BLA/BSLA from an ASLA accredited institution. Candidate will need to be an expert communicator with solid writing and speaking skills. Interpersonal skills must also be very strong. Demonstrated collaborative skills both internal and external. Confidence, strong organizational skills, detail oriented and ability to multi-task are critcal skills.
