Description

BASIC PURPOSE AND FUNCTION:

Maintain store specific floor plans for section sizes and adjacencies. Update stores after remodels and assist in space re-allocations for corporate initiatives. Create user friendly data outputs for Category Management and other groups as need to measure space. Perform other associated store layout functions.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Update various databases with store specific data as it pertains to space management for categories and attaching the appropriate schematic to files.
Update stores after remodels and refreshes using final merchandised prints.
Assist stores in maintaining footages for categories and answer questions concerning planograms to be used.
Monitor store request via the SVU.Space email box.
Produce reports for Category Management showing by store footage for specific categories as requested.
Assist the Corporate Merchants in performing audits of sections sizes and doing surveys to ensure correct data output.
Assist in re-allocation of space on categories as determined by the Corporate Category Managers.
Communicate new merchandise plans back out to stores after updates.
Maintain Display Flexibility in JDA Pro floor software for divisions and add in the new stores as they come on line or remodel.
Maintain constant communication with the banner Deployment Managers to receive the most current store data.

SKILLS, PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:

JDA Space Planning or Floor Planning a plus
Reading, writing, math and communication skills at a proficient level
Ability to follow verbal or written instruction.
Keyboarding proficiency.
Possess comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft office applications.
Possess the ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner.
Ability to work with minimum supervision and prioritize workload to accomplish job tasks.
Possess analytical and organizational skills, and have an extreme attention to detail as it pertains to merchandising.
Most work is performed in a temperature controlled office environment.
Incumbent may sit for long periods of time at desk and computer terminal.
Stooping, bending, twisting, and reaching may be required in completion of job duties.
