ATK Armament Systems (AS) is world's largest supplier of small-caliber ammunition for the military, law enforcement and shooting sports markets. We are a leader in medium caliber systems, advanced propellants and energetics, and tactical systems.
The Advanced Weapons division of Armament Systems is seeking a seasoned Material Program Manager for our Plymouth, MN location. Our ideal candidate has 10+ years of Supply Chain Management experience, preferably on significant production programs.
Brief Position Description: Manages all acquired material and services for a program or a group of programs. Coordinates activities of various Supply Chain disciplines. Represents Supply Chain to Customer, Program Management, and ATK Management. Acts as a Deputy Program Manager. Focus is on managing suppliers and internal SCM team. Areas of focus include, but are not limited to:
Communication
* Focal point for tying together the assigned program(s) and supply chain management function including buyers, planners, subcontract administrators, customers, suppliers, etc.
Execution
* Total supply chain execution for assigned program(s)
* Basic technical knowledge of the assigned program(s)
* Typically used as a deputy program manager, especially when there is a large material content
Financial Performance
* Cost accounting responsibility (material and labor) for an assigned program
* Manage earned value management system (EVMS) for acquired materials/services
* Establish/negotiate material budgets to support manufactured items.
* Establish and track monthly sales forecasts and report variances and establish corrective actions thereto.
Compliance
* Apply Import/Export regulations such as ITAR, EAR, DDTC registration etc
* Apply security regulations concerning vendor visits or sharing information
* Apply government contract requirements such as FAR, DFAR, ISO, NASA, CPSR, MMAS, DCAA, SOX, etc. to appropriate agreements
* Support auditing processes such as DCAA, CPSR, internal, etc

Continuous Improvement
Qualifications, Duties & Education Requirements:
* 10+ years supply chain management experience, preferably on significant production programs
* Bachelor's Degree preferred, ideally in Supply Chain Management
* Supply chain Management/regulatory knowledge
* Cost Account Management experience
* Teaming and strategic agreement experience
* Experience using continuous improvement tools such as PES, Lean Six Sigma
* Ability to obtain Secret Clearance
* Certified Professional in Supply Chain Management (CPSM) preferred
* Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) preferred
