Adecco Engineering and Technical, a division of the world leader in the recruitment of engineering and information technology professionals, has an immediate direct/permanent opening for a Process Engineer with our leading client company in Faribault. To be considered, candidates MUST have previous experience as a Process Engineer within a food or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. In this position your responsibilities will include: Initiate, drive, and support continuous improvement of manufacturing processes, including process waste elimination. Implement new and improved methods for production areas Support, understand, and coach others in understanding and use of lean tools, including Six Sigma, etc Prepare capital request and supporting documents Coordinate training for operators and production teams on revised procedures in coordination with the company trainer. Plan, organize, and execute new projects related to higher yields, increased uptime, and improved cycle times. Education and Experience: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field from an accredited university/college and/or significant work experience 2-4 years related experience in a progressive manufacturing setting. Solid background/work experience in packaging or powder processing. Food or pharmaceutical packaging a plus. Familiarity of Lean Manufacturing concepts and 5S organizational tools.
