Job Responsibilities:
Has responsibility for the specification and sourcing of components and equipment required for product and project execution including components, materials, chemicals, test fixtures as needed
Has responsibility for all project documents as required including bills of material, process flow diagrams, schematics, operational procedures, test procedures and other documents as required on projects
Owns the Identification, development, and improvement of processes and standards related to areas of expertise as they pertain to engineering methods, quality, safety and manufacturing
Proficient with MS Office and other software tools required for the specific projects and role in the organization, may include AutoCAD, Agile, Project as well as project specific tools such as PLC development, data acquisition, or engineering design tools
Lead role on project teams to develop, maintain, and meet schedules and project deliverables
Leader in design and safety reviews, status updates and process documentation as needed
Drives manufacturing and supply management teams to identify, improve, and develop methods, standards, requirements, and procedures consistent with the project goals for manufacturing quality and project costs
Owns the project Interface with production employees to assure high quality manufacturing and Best Practices on the shop floor
Performs other duties as assigned or as necessary to meet the needs of internal and external customers
General Requirements:
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word)
Expert in the methods to read, edit and create P&IDs, schematics, and other product documentation
Detailed knowledge of customer applications on relevant projects
Expert in the areas of manufacturing and assembly as it pertains to assigned products and projects Expert in tools required for engineering and project execution including AutoCAD, Agile
Solidworks and other engineering design systems
Knowledgeable of broad range of tools that may be applicable to the discipline enabling decisions on implementation and improvement in existing systems
Bachelor s degree in appropriate disciplines of Engineering or Science and 5-10 years in equipment or semi related industries preferred
Advanced degree (MS or PhD in Engineering or Sciences) or demonstrated equivalent expertise may be required for advancement onto the Technical Career Ladder
