Responsibilities:

Field Sales

The successful candidate will be responsible for selling TE Connectivity products and solutions in the Chicago Marketplace. In addition to Chicago, the territory includes both Central Illinois and Northwestern Indiana. Other responsibilities include maximizing profitable sales by developing and executing a sales plan and strategy congruous with the Enterprise Networks sales organization. Development of key accounts, management of a distributor network, focus on winning projects through coverage of engineering firms, contractors and end users. This individual will utilize various company functions (Customer Service, Product Management, Systems Engineering and Operations) for assistance in furthering sales efforts and gaining sales within the territory.

DataCenter expertise within the following verticals would be a plus: Healthcare, Financial, Higher Education and Fortune 500. The ability to target and secure Chicago Area accounts with an emphasis on TE Connectivity s global footprint would be a benefit for the successful candidate.

Requirement:

A college degree is desired, in an appropriate field such as Sales, Marketing, or Engineering or the equivalent, plus a minimum of two years of appropriate sales experience. Candidates should have a good knowledge of and experience in the structured cabling industry. BICSI RCDD a plus. Candidate should have a documented record of successful experience in developing and managing a sales territory, planning and implementing sales strategies and meeting specific sales and profitability targets.
