Responsibilities:

This position has the principle responsibility for developing and supporting business processes and systems for TE s Manufacturing Operations and Logistics organizations with a focus on Materials Management and Procurement.

Requirement:

Major responsibilities include the following:

* Assists in the analysis required to develop processes that address complex operational situations. Analysis to be done using all available production technologies, business information systems, and other applicable resources while keeping in mind the capacity and limitations of those resources and the form of the desired results.
* Prepare detailed specifications from which systems are developed or modified that are used for the basis of the development.
* Prepare detailed documentation in support of user training.
* Support the design, documentation, and integration of new processes into the existing corporate structure.
* Document and test systems in accordance with TE Connectivity strategic plans. Applicant must have a command of the technology and business processes to complete all phases of the system development methodology.
* Work with the customer in the implementation of information technology in accordance with TE and IT strategic plans.
* Support the Manufacturing Operations and Logistics user community in solving issues in accordance with approved processes and procedures.
* Partner with key business experts.

Competencies & Experience Required/Desired:

Required:

* 5 years background in SAP/ERP configuration
* 5 years of system design and/or programming
* Extensive experience with SAP Materials Management and Procurement
* Strong experience participating in software development projects
* Strong business process reengineering experience
* Experience training and mentoring others
* Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
* Project management and estimating techniques
* Understanding of ABAP/4 and SAP Dictionary
* Knowledge of structured system/software development methodologies

Desired:

* Experience with SAP Warehouse Management, Distribution, or Transportation modules
* Understanding of SAP BI
* Knowledge of various hardware platforms, database technologies, and data communication networks

Educational Required/Desired:

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent
