Our Anoka, MN location is seeking a Talent Management Specialist to add to our team. This location has a rich history in the community and has been operating since 1922. The Talent Management Specialist is responsible for playing a key role in ATK Security and Sporting Group Talent Management and Training Department. The individual will guide leadership and high potential development, 360 coaching and performance management. This position will interface with all levels of leadership.
Responsibilities:
* Project Management for talent management processes and tools including succession planning and career management.
* Guides talent development by researching, planning, proposing, and influencing solutions that meet organizational needs.
* Develops systems/approaches, tools and communications for talent management initiatives (e.g. leadership development, annual performance management, coaching processes).
* Guides, partners with and educates HR Representatives in administering talent management processes such as talent reviews, talent development options and programs, coaching and performance management.
* Recommends and provides training and/or organizational development solutions to meet business needs.
* Trains and manages internal leadership development and leadership essentials courses with a focus on behavior change (application of skills).
* Conducts training needs assessments
* Provides and manages a coordinated 360 coaching process.
* Develops and leads large-scale talent management project to drive organizational change.
* Evaluates and measures the effectiveness of talent management and training systems/programs.
* Provides consultation to internal customers on the effectiveness of existing and new training programs and requirements.
* Keeps abreast of talent management and training research (e.g. learning theory, motivation theory, and coaching, leadership development, performance management, Lominger competencies framework and tools).
* Develops fit assessments and assignment-based development matrixes for various functional areas.
* Coordinates classes, conducts training classes and maintains training records.
Qualification Requirements:
* Must have a minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in Training, OD and Talent Management, strong coaching (development-based and 360 feedback), project management and facilitation skills.
* Experience in developing and implementing leadership training and OD interventions.
* Proven success in organizing and leading change with mid-to-high level leaders.
* Self-starter, able to prioritize and execute multiple projects concurrently.
* Excellent people and relationship building skills; able to influence with minimal authority; strong, professional communicator (written, oral, group and one-on-one).
* Experience in developing and delivering presentations to various audiences.
* Experience in conducting training needs assessments.
