Position Summary
Sales focused and results driven technical-oriented Territory Account Manager for the Midwest K - 12 and Higher Education market. This Territory Account Manager will evaluate and develop new business opportunities, partnerships and strategic initiatives while monitoring competitive activity within assigned K - 20 market vertical. The successful candidate will be an experienced account and territory manager with thorough knowledge of the Education market. This individual must be able to engage at the C-Level and key high-level decision makers. This position requires residence within defined territory and extensive travel. This role is ideally staffed in Minnesota.
Responsibilities
* Responsible for defining and implementing strategic account plans to meet quarterly Education market and revenue goals.
* Develops a tactical plan to drive revenue of all Adobe products to Education accounts in a geographic territory.
* Analyzes Education market needs and sells technology solutions.
* Works closely with the Education Marketing and Channel teams to maximize sales coverage.
* Identifies and manages third party and strategic account relationships as needed to support the Education market demands.
* Meets or exceeds revenue goals.
* Develops and maintains strategic account relationships in the Higher Education and K - 12 market.
* Leverages partners to maximize coverage within the territory.
Requirements
* Technical proficiency in Adobe products and license programs.
* Ability to work independently but also contribute as a member of the team.
* Experience developing strategic opportunities in conjunction with a sales team.
* 5 - 7 years sales experience in Education sales.
* Ideal background has a blend of both education & enterprise customer experience.
* Requires understanding of complex business models.
* Strong presentation and technical skills.
* Commitment to developing excellent customer relationships.
* Bachelors degree required, MBA desirable.
